Salary Range: $100,000-$135,000
Essential Duties
Responsible for strategic planning support and day-to-day working relationships with UN communicators in the Secretariat and various UN agencies.
Drives key initiatives (including Global Goals Week partnership community and global expansion, Communications Corps), and will guide communications and oversee work for UNF’s youth programs.
Analyzes, interprets, and conveys advice on UN communications requests for DC colleagues.
Develops relationships and strategies with the corporate community, including influencers and media to raise funds, build constituency and engage the private sector in SDG goal setting.
Develops plans, processes/systems, and communications initiatives to maximize UN engagement and partnership impact.
Works closely with UN Foundation media lead to coordinate media relations and opportunities with UN colleagues.
Serves as a liaison across the Foundation with a focus on UN relations and communications needs.
Draft and review agreements and maintain an understanding of all agreement terms and applicable flow-downs, consulting with UNF's finance/contracts team as needed.
This is a hybrid (in office and remote) position.
Required:
Master’s Degree in Public Affairs or International Affairs, and 2 years of communications and partnerships experience.
