Position Overview
The Associate, Talent Acquisition, People and Culture is responsible for providing a range of administrative support to the People and Culture team’s full-cycle talent acquisition workstream. They will also gather, track, and maintain data related to the long-term health of UNF’s talent pipeline while providing meaningful support to colleagues on the People and Culture team.
This position is based in Washington, DC (Hybrid schedule).
Essential Functions
Execute and track full-cycle recruitment administrative tasks for all positions
Effectively identify, screen, and assess talent for members of the Talent Acquisition team and other hiring managers
Coordinate candidate interview scheduling and reference check calls
Initiate background screening for all final candidates
Coordinate with colleagues on the People & Culture team to ensure a seamless transition from the talent search process to onboarding and orientation
Assist with providing updates to hiring managers with pool building updates and important reminders related to talent acquisition
Coordinate college and university recruitment activity schedules with supervision from the Director, Talent Acquisition
Build and maintain an intern alumni database for future candidate pools
Maintain a strong knowledge of UNF’s applicant tracking system and other talent acquisition-related platforms
Maintain the Talent Acquisition intranet page with useful resources and reminders
Other duties as assigned
Selection Criteria
Bachelor’s degree required
2+ years of relevant experience
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated excellence working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task and juggle many projects at once is a must
Strong professional interpersonal skills and diplomacy
Ability to work independently as well as member of a team
Ability to take initiative
Dependable and consistent
